Blogger's Quilt Festival

Welcome to The Blogger's Quilt Festival.
I recently finished a quilt I've been working on. It's a pattern by Lizzy House called "Castle Treasury!" This quilt did take a lot of pre-planning but was not a difficult pattern to sew at all.

I personally really like working with solids; they create high contrast and a very graphic pattern.

My favorite part of the quilt is the binding!  I LOVE stripes!!  I also went with a tight quilting pattern...this one is called Pebbles.  Do you have any projects you've just finished?!

Finished Quilt Size:58X67
Special Techniques Used: Machine Pieced and Gammel Long Arm Quilted
Quilted By: Laura Watts Walsh
Best Category: ROYGBIV Quilt

Pop on over to the festival to check out all the great quilts.

  2. Looks great!! I love the colors you chose. Did you pick them to match the stripe or did you find the stripe to match the solids? Love the pebble quilting, too :)

  10. Fab quilt. It reminds me of the floor tile patterns that the Victorians used to do - in a good way. I do not mean that as anything but good!
