Hello, its Thursday and I have a vintage quilt to share with you. Hooray!
Many of the quilts I will be sharing (and the block how tos) are from the same lady and are family quilts.
Next week I will be sharing the blocks I made with this pattern. I have a few fabric lines I think I want to use. We have some great text fabric I will be listing today on Etsy and those will be making an appearance for sure!
This quilt uses curved piecing (its not that hard, I promise) and is hand quilted. You can tell that is has been used and loved for a long time.
Come back next week to see my interpretation and more photos of this quilt.
Heather and I have been working on the new shop (right next door). We are having lots of fun playing around with all the vintage goodies and sewing necessities.
Our new hours are:
Tuesday 10-7
Wednesday 10-5
Every third Saturday 9-5
Before I go I have to show you this new line we got in this week, Chillingsworth. Both Heather and I have taken yardage home and are working on fun projects for the shop
Love the hutch with the Bonnie & Camille fabrics and Camille's patterns!!

This one looks like fun! And I like your vintage ironing board. I have one similar but I don't have those wires going from the front let go the back. Do you know how old yours is?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure. I will have to do a little ironing board research.
DeleteMade my heart swell to see my family's quilt on here. My momma must have brought it in. I remember cuddling under this as a child, it was well loved!
ReplyDeleteYour mom was kind enough to let me take a few photos of your family's quilts. I am so grateful I can share the pics with other quilters
