Hello Quilt!

We are frantically filling out forms and taking pictures for our Quilt Show entries.  The Desert Sage Quilters of Magic Valley Quilt Show is April 13 & 14 at the Filer Fairgrounds.

Laura asked me to take a pic with my phone for her entry. This is what came out. I love this. She is a quilting angel.

I reshot the photo and got this one. Hello peeking Laura!. Also, I have to admit that both Amy and I looove this quilt and are totally copying her.
Her piecing in impecable.
My color is going to be teal. I can't wait to get started on it.
The pattern is from Denyse Schmidt's book. I think she is having figure eights quilted lengthwise.

And I messed around a bit taking more pictures with my phone. I like this one from Amy's long arm table. Its all her bobbins.

We finally got Comma by Zen Chic in. I made a quilt top with precuts and have been crazy waiting for the yardage so I can finish my borders.

And lastly, I mentioned that we would be redecorating our  windows Friday but this Saturday is prom and they are eating in the windows again this year. If you drive by Saturday evening (around 6:30) you will see 9 couples in their finest dining in our windows.

  3. That's lovely, I took a photo fo a quilt up against a window and it looked like a stained glass window... it gives it a great effect and you can really see the blocks on yours with the light behind. Gorgeous.
