Crochet Rag Rug

In our Vintage Children's Room window there are 2 round crochet rag rugs. They are easy to make and these ones are made out of vintage sheets. Each rug used 2 full flat sheets.

I like the distinct change in sheet color in this one. Its like a band around the edge.

I didn't use a pattern. I folded the sheet up so it fit on my large cutting mat and cut the strips about 2 inches wide. I used a very large crochet hook and started with about 5 single crochets. Join in the round and continue making single or double crochet. I kinda went by feel.

I found a pattern on pinterest and you can find it here

This is a good way to use up stashed fabric that you no longer like, isn't in style anymore or know you won't ever get to.
