Appleville T-Shirt

I got started on a few Appleville projects. I have one big one I am making but I wanted to make a few smalls too.

We are hosting an Appleville  Contest and you could win a $100 Gift Certificate to The Quilt Barn. You can use it in store, at our etsy store or on our webstore.

See this blog post for the full details. You can also win a fun prize pack just for blogging about our contest and spreading the word.

So, as a QB employee I cannot win the prize pack or the gift card but I can still play along.
I wanted to start out with something simple. I used a double faced fusible on the back of this cute bunny square and ironed it on a red t-shirt.
I usually applique something like this over a stain or tear but the litle red shirt needed some jazzing up.
I didnt machine applique it on...yet. I am thinking I should, for durability. Has anyone done anything like this and not ironed it on? Did it stay on?

Ok, go and blog about our contest please so I can send someone something fun. See the linked post for details. Also, I would love for you to participate with me. I love to see your creations.
Have a super weekend. I don't know about you but it is stinkin hot here so I am going to sew inside. Stay tuned for more Appleville fun.

I would applique it on for sure - especially a tee-shirt that requires lots of washing and drying. You will probably be very sorry if you don't. Hey, it is so hot in Salt Lake City - that lots of things burst into flames for the heck of it!
